Hey there everyone, I have a super amazing announcement to make...
Serene Fiber Arts Yarn Clubs are back in session!
I put my yarn clubs on hold for a couple of months while I've been working on getting settled with my new website and testing yarn bases to find the perfect ones to dye for my shop. Well, these clubs were a lot of fun and well received in the past, so I think it is finally time I brought them back!
If you're new to indie dyer yarn clubs, here's how they basically work (or at least how I like to do them):
You order a yarn club subscription. There's a super pretty photo with gorgeous colors, this shows the color inspiration for the yarn. No photos of the actual yarn with the colorway dyed on it, since that is part of the fun of yarn clubs, opening the package and having an idea of what the colors will look like but the final product is still a surprise. Yarn Clubs also typically come with some extra goodies, in my case I like to give a stitch marker or a candle (or sometimes both!) Yarn clubs are usually purchased in one-month increments (though I've seen many shops who give you options for multiple months - I do not, however, since I like to take things one month at a time) so you can choose the exact months you'd like to join the club.
For my June Yarn of the Month club, I have begun taking pre-orders for the rest of May, and the clubs will begin shipping out early June. I like to do my yarn clubs as a pre-order, that way I can know exactly how much yarn I need to dye and stitch markers I need to make and can make sure I have all the supplies I need for the yarn club members before I begin dyeing and sending them out. This is just my preference for doing this, some months I may switch it up and have them ready-to-ship, just depends on how I'm feeling that month.
June's secret colorway is called 'Morning Dew' and features one full sized skein of yarn (100% Alpaca, DK weight, 4 oz) and comes with a lobster clasp stitch marker (hand-crafted by moi!) as well as a votive candle (earthy or floral - you pick the scent!) You can pre-order my Yarn of the Month by clicking that gorgeous teaser photo above and it will take you to my shop listing.
