This is the Yowza Weight It Shawl 2 which can be found on Ravelry. I knitted it with Expression Fiber Arts' pearlescent worsted weight silk yarn, in her colorway 'Recreate' which was a January Yarn Club exclusive.
For a more complete review of the pattern and yarn I used, see my project page on Ravelry.
I made this shawl for my grandmother Bonnie for Mother's Day, as a way of saying thank you to her for introducing me to yarn as a child. She taught me to crochet when I was a kiddo, and without that foundation I would likely not be here making yarn today.
Finally an FO! Haha, sorry you don't see a lot of finished objects around here, I'm terrible at finishing things I start. I pretty much have around 10 projects going at any one time, so it usually takes me a while to complete anything unless I focus on one at a time.
This one has a lot of meaning for me though, so maybe that's what kept me focused and got me to finish it so quickly (took me about 3-4 weeks total)
I hope all of you mothers and grandmothers out there have a wonderful Mother's Day!
